Beyond the Sky
Raquel Luna
I am a whisper in the wind,
a fading step upon the sand.
The river sings, the forest hums
will they recall my fleeting hand?
The sky once held a thousand names,
now only stars remain to shine.
Like echoes dancing through the dark,
will someone hear this voice of mine?
I plant my thoughts like restless seeds,
uncertain where the roots will grow.
Perhaps in time, beneath the sun,
a trace of me will start to show.
Not stone nor gold nor endless flame,
but in the hearts that pass me by.
A thread within a greater weave,
a part of earth, beyond the sky.
