Forever in One Look
I. Flores
One look at you and I know I’m doomed,
your dark eyes framed in crystal,
kind as I always assumed
calling me with a whistle.
They are a sea I could sail on for an eternity,
one look at them, not a word said,
but we understood everything.
I could recognize them in this and every other lifetime,
for they keep me prisoner,
every time I hear the bell chime
one look at your eyes and I know it’s over.
Just one look at your eyes,
and this mind of mine,
becomes more yours
once we intertwine.
